Pretty Cool!
I was hoping he would win. I used to like John McCain, because I felt bad that he can't lift his arms over his head after his stint as a POW. But then I read about how when he got out of the POW camp after five years, he found his faithful wife a lot heavier and several inches shorter after a car accident that almost killed her, and he promptly ran off with 25 year old, wealthy heiress Cindy! I just don't trust guys who are with someone who looks that much like Barbie.

While I agree Obama was definitely the better choice, I think John McCain's biggest downfall was Sarah Palin.
I'm with Darlene. I know so many faithful Republicans that could not in good faith, vote for J.M, out of fear that S.P. could end up President, let alone V.P. I just can't wait to see what B.O does. Hopefully, he'll take this country in the right direction.
Yes, he did! Go Obama! Well, I hope we are all so happy after a year or two. He's got a long row to hoe.
As for McCain - meh. He was also one of the Keating 5. He did have a very gracious consession speech though.
