Watched This On The Weekend
This is one of my favourite house porn movies ever.
Susan Sarandon lives in a three- storey 1890's mansion in the Hudson River Valley. I read in some 'making of the movie' thing, that the producers wanted a house that didn't look too affluent, as the character is a divorced mother who doesn't work and lives off her alimony. I guess the house doesn't look too affluent...if you're divorced from Donald Trump, that is.
And, the movie has quilts in it, too.
This movie is in my list of top ten best house porn movies.

This is one of my daughters and mine favorite movies!!
Yes, I agree - this is an amazing "house porn" movie. I always wondered how she managed to afford that insanely beautiful place, as well. I just assumed she came from 'old money'.
Even my husband has made the observation that houses in movies are impossibly posh!
