I'm Doing A Cross Stitch Next

Check it out ... "The Shores Of Hawk Run Hollow," from Carriage House Samplings.
Here's a bigger pic so you can better see the old fashioned sea-themed porn-iness of it.
I absolutely love it. When I first saw it, I felt lust like I haven't since I first laid eyes on Legolas in the first Lord of the Rings movie.
And it's massive! It's going to take me about five years to finish, and I'll probably have to get a second job to pay to frame it.

Oh God, it's absolutely beautiful! How big is it, really?

I can't find the exact measurements, but the fabric is enormous! Like the size of a pillow case. That's pretty big for cross stitch, at least for me.

Actually, it's way bigger than a pillow case! Almost two pillow cases!

That's huge...but its going to be so nice. I can't wait to see your progress. How long do you think it will take you to complete?

How porny did my last comment sound?

Thought I'd let you know that I'm on the Zoloft. Holy shit... I can't even stay awake.

Very pretty and ambitious! The gal that writes a blog I follow has been working on that one for awhile. Good luck! I'm sure it'll be lots of fun going section by section.

That is beautiful. I did a large cross stitch of the Lord's Prayer once. It took forever. I gave it to my Grandmother. I have never attempted anything that large since.
