Resolutions

I resolve in 2007 to:

- "Have a healthier relationship with food." I read that somewhere. I think it sounds nicer than "stop eating like a hog." More fruits and veggies, less crap, more organic, and less food overall. (I tend to be a bit of a glutton)

- Use the Boy to become slightly more active, eg. skating, swimming, biking with him, etc, instead of declaring that I will join a gym, which I will never do.

- Learn to like wine. Because drinking a chocolate milkshake when everyone else is drinking wine is slightly embarrassing. And the bottles are so pretty.

- Read the bazillion books I already own and haven't yet read, try not to buy so many books, and go to the library.

- Do my nails.

- Quilt my latest quilt top, and finish one cross stitch pattern.

- Organize the broom closet, junk drawer, and the Boy's toys.

What's a 'res-o-lu-tion'? ; )

That's quite a list.
I admire people who make resolutions. I have never made one. Perhaps I will. Well, perhaps I should. Yes, should is a good word.

I resolve to finally get off the crack pipe and to stop solving my problems by hitting. ;-)

Bravo- do use the Boy. They are useful like that.

As for liking wine, if I may offer this advice- go to a tasting and sample widely. Don't be afraid to use the spit bucket if you don't like it. Gotta love the socially-acceptable spitting aspect of wine tastings. ;-)
