Florida, Baby!
Getting it organized was a major pain in the ass, between passports, vacation schedules at work, etc, but Peter and I are headed to Florida a week from tomorrow! We're going to hang out on the beach, bum around in Key West, see the extra-toed cats at Ernest Hemingway's house, eat key lime pie, drink margaritas at Jimmy Buffet's and Captain Tony's, and hopefully see a redneck stick his head in an alligator's mouth.

"Arent you taking the Boy?" Why does everyone ask that?
"Vacation" + Boy = Does not compute.
Florida? Really? And you are excited about that? OK, I guess I can see it. It's warm, its sunny, it has beaches. I even have friends that live down there but I can't get over my feeling that its the arm pit of America. I know, its terrible to think that way, but I do. Well, Key West is a younger area too, so that will help. I hope you have a great time.
We've never been to Florida, so we're very excited. Even if it is the armpit of the U-S, it's still a warm armpit with palm trees and beaches.
And, it's a grownup vacation, so the Boy isn't coming. He's too young for Disney, and his grandparents are taking him there in a couple of years anyway. Plus, the thought of the crowds and lineups there makes me want to slit my wrists.
Oh how fun! I've never been to Florida unless you count a layover from Jamaica. I'm pea green with envy! Have an awesome time!

I'm sure you will love it, everyone loves Florida, I'm usually out voted. I think i just had one to many bad experiences there. Plus, no matter how much sunblock I wear or how much I stay out of the sun, I burn...strike that, I fry. After that anything fun loses its luster. I didn't mean to be a party pooper. I have a feeling you are going to have a blast...plus its warm and there is sand, two wonderful things after a few months of cold.
