We're Baaaack!
Florida is an amazing place! We had an amazing time!
The weather was perfect. We splashed with dolphins, saw alligators, hung out on the beach, drove 1000 miles in the rental car, and ate conch. Well, I ate conch. Peter ate cheeseburgers.
Also, my normally dry skin isn't dry in Florida! But my hair looks like crap there.
Peter took 400 pictures of everything, and I took another hundred, mainly of house, food, and foliage porn, so this is going to be the Florida blog for a few days.
Also, someone left a rude anonymous comment on my "Hemingway is a pig" post .... you should all go there and blast the arsehole.

Do you think anonymous is who I think it is? Hmmmm. What a coward, huh. I guess we hit a nerve. Anyway.... So glad you are home and I'm excited to see the rest of your pictures and to hear about your adventures. Everyone seems to have a great time in Florida...it seems like I'm the only one that doesn't. Maybe its just because the one hole in the ozone hovers over me, where ever I go so that I fry. You can't smear enough sunblock on me. Maybe I should just walk around covered in mud. That might work.
Hi Susannah! I saw the six-toed cats and petted them, while Peter waited outside because he's allergic.
Netter: I don't know who it is! It can't be one of the regulars, though. We're too nice!

I actually waited across the street at "Ernest's Outdoor Bar". I have no complaints.
(...and for the record I DID eat a conch fritter and one whole shrimp. Nothing exotic like grits though)

(Off topic here, but my daughter got her passport in 2 1/2 weeks. Freakin amazing.)
I know what it is! I knew. I just forgot. My mind is too filled up with other pieces of information. Sometimes it's hard to get to the old stuff.
