It Was 34 Degrees (Celsius) Yesterday
The kind of heat that completely saps your energy.
So I spent last evening on the couch in front of the fan.
I drank chocolate milk, started knitting a Halloween dishcloth, and watched "The Scarlet Letter," because it was filmed in Shelburne, Nova Scotia, where Peter and I are planning on visiting in two weeks (lots of house porn.) Plus, Gary Oldman is smokin' hot in it.
It turned out to be a very nice, relaxing Mommy evening.

I've never seen that version of the Scarlet Letter. Hmm- I may have to go rent that tonight.
