dh - we have so much snow up here, I can't even believe it. We're even having 'January' weather - yesterday when I got up, it was -18 with a windchill of -26. I just don't think I was ready for it this year. It seems like we didn't have a fall at all.
We're supposed to be getting 20 cm tomorrow!! And there's a wind warning! Worst of all, our staff party is tomorrow evening. It's supposed to be a massive pigout. I'll be heartbroken if it's cancelled.
yuck.
Just imagine being one of the thousands of travellers who spent 16 hours trapped on the highway, at the Cobequid Pass in northern Nova Scotia, during the storm Wednesday night...
I'm not leaving the house all weekend.
I would have killed someone, or myself if I had been one of those people stuck on the Cobequid. I got stuck outside of Sackville (NB) once for about three hours when the Boy was only two months old, when we were coming back from visiting his great grandparents in Antigonish. I can't even imagine what it must have been like Wednesday night for the people stuck on the Cobequid who had small children with them.
Well, it looks pretty anyway.
