Book Journal

I started keeping lists of what I read in a year in January of 2000. It's fun to look back at the lists. I can remember what was going on in my life book by book. For instance, book number 32 in 2000 was Peter Straub's Floating Dragon...I very distinctly remember lying in bed in the old apartment on Cameron Street in the middle of the night, reading and gritting my teeth because the horrible tenant below me was blasting her equally horrible dance music.
I read 65 books in 2000, 71 in 2001, 61 in 2002. In 2004, the first full year with the Boy... 24.
