Local Strawberries!

Well, from Nova Scotia, but close enough. There's nothing like real strawberries, strawberries that haven't spent a week in a plastic container being driven across the country. They smell like summer.

UPDATE: D.H. and the boy both have terrible colds and have been sleepless for a couple days.

Regular blogging will resume after a little sleep and recovery time.

Stay tuned.

Sorry to hear that.
Hope you both get better soon.

Are you taking good care of them, Peter?

By "taking good care of" do you mean staying as far away as possible to avoid catching anything?

If so then yes, yes I am.

(I'm a keeper!)

Peter!
Go and get the boy some new crayons and coloring book...
and flowers for DH.
You don't have to go in..just ring the doorbell and leave them on the step...
then delete this comment so they think it was your idea.
You still need some training, I see.

I saw them in the store today and did a double take as it seems a bit early for strawberries? I'm assuming they are from the Valley. They were $4.99 a quart here. Regardless the price they are so much better than those tastless plasic red blobs sent up from the US.

I like that: "They smell like summer." I'm going to go home and smell some summer.

I hope you feel better.
