Wow - absolutley beautiful, dh... I'm still on a journey to find out what my "special talent" is.
Do you get to build a log cabin too?
The great thing about cross stitching, D, is that it requires NO talent! Just patience! Karen or Michelle can teach you how to do it about 5 minutes.
DH that is gorgeous. Beautiful!!
I really like it, It kills when you give it away. So much work. The satisfaction is good though. Not as satisfying as chocolate bread. Did you try it yet?
DH! That's what I keep saying...It doesn't get much easier than cross stitching. Yours is looking really good.
Did you read my comment? I was asking you if you knew where that Haunted House is. It's on that main road between Escuminac and Chatham. I think people use it as a summer home then board it up. I really want to go in there. Is it true that Ben's is up for sale???
Now quilting requires patience! And thinking skills. That's why it's not for me.
Rogue, I'm glad your updating your blog.
dh: karen will have to tell you about the time she tried to teach me to knit. LOL let's just say, it wasn't pretty.
Have not tried bread yet, but will for sure.
Have not seen haunted house, but I love it!! Especially the gingerbread trim!
And, yes, quilting does require thinking skills...which is why I have to take a class to make one, so the teacher can do the thinking part.
You must be busy, hope your having a good one.
Bye! Have fun in blogland.
Glad your back, I did another cross stitch like what you are talking about, supposed to be 3 different colors of blue and to me, they we're all the same, whatever, I just went ahead and did it anyway and it turned out pretty good, I'll show that one another time, cross stitch can be forgiving, cause let me tell ya I have made some mistakes, no one knows but me. And you. Ha. Have a great week.
Your website has a useful information for beginners like me.
