A FO In Two Hours!

It's very gratifying to make and actually finish something in two hours, rather than two years, which is my average speed.
Here are the two sides of the tied fleece baby blanket I made yesterday for my sister-in-law, who just had her first baby two days ago.

Wow, very nice. Is it the same sister in law who is getting married? I know what you mean about projects taking forever. I went to a scrapbook weekend with my sister once and you could stay until 2 in the morning, so my first night, at midnight, I was done organizing and ready to start on a page. I am hopeless. One day, I will show all uncompleted projects on the blog. Have a good day.

I gotta ask, can you share how to make this blanket. I'm thinking you cut 2 different kinds of the fleece for the fringes, then put them together and tie the fringes together. Am I close????

Pretty close! You put them together first, then cut them to the size you want, cut the fringes, and tie them together. The link with instructions is in the post.
The first one I made took a bit of time, because I kept trying to square it off perfectly. But it's impossible. I ignored the imperfections in this one, and it took me all of two hours, and looks great! Also, no one at the shower had ever seen one, and there were many admiring oohs and ahhs.
