First Daytrip After Key West
Peter and I went to Fredericton on Saturday. Fredericton is the Capital city of New Brunswick, and also the House Porn Capital of New Brunswick. Plus, they have the nicest farmer's market I've ever seen. Then we drove to Gagetown, a really cute little village on the Saint John river. We took a teeny weeny ferry that only holds about 5 cars.
We saw a boatload of cattle waiting to be towed to one of the islands in the river to graze.

Hey, I went to Fredericton with one of my Canadian friends a few years ago, but he didn't show me any house porn. The next time I speak to him, I'm going to give him a hard time about that....I love the first house, but the pink door needs to go.

I've never been there. I hit St. John and fell in love with the houses and the churches there. Is it better in Fredericton? Do I have to make my husband take me there next trip to NB?

Fredericton is waaaay nicer than Saint John. SJ has a lot of character, but it's also gritty and polluted and reeks because of the refinery.
Fredericton is a government and university town, so there's no pollution. It's full of huge old trees and old houses. It's GORGEOUS!
And, no alligators! Just drunk UNB students.
Love those buildings! And the pink door!
