We Splashed With Dolphins!

If you're ever in Grassy Key, you should stop at the Dolphin Research Center. It's amazing. It's a real research center, not a tourist trap with trained dolphins doing shows, though these guys knew lots of tricks. They offer different programs, like swimming with dolphins to help fund the Center. Peter and I did the dolphin splash, where you get in the water and play with the dolphins. That's me shaking hands with and getting a kiss from Santini. It was our first time seeing dolphins. They are just magical.

OK, seriously, that is the coolest thing ever...EVER. I sooooo want to do that. You know I watched a show on dolphins a few years ago that talked about children with neurological issues swimming with them and how their symptoms are often improved afterward. They think the sonar that the dolphins use helps adjust some imbalances in brain chemistry. Cool, huh!

That is just awesome! Your vacations have to be some of the best. I think you should arrange a vacation for all the blogging buddies to go sometime! You would be the best hostess!!
