Wine Porn!

Peter and I pretended to be wine snobs and drove out to the Jost vineyard on Saturday. It's in NS on the Northumberland Strait. We went on a tour, and sampled about a bazillion different kinds.
It was a lot of fun, but I have to say I just don't get why wine is such a snobby thing. It's fermenting grape juice, for Christ's sake.
Check out the awesome hooked rug hanging on the wall in the Jost store... it's by Nova Scotia rug hooking artist Deanne Fitzpatrick. It was huge!

I think it's snobby so that people can feel like they are doing something cultured instead of getting plastered like the rest of the masses.

Cheap date: 1st taste of wine and she was staggering all over the place and picking fights with other customers:

"Is she looking at me? I know she's looking at me, hic"

I live just south of the Napa Valley and have to agree with you, it's just a drink! Clearly, I'm not a wine snob.

Kare: I bought one of her kits 4 years ago! I'm actually working on it again! I might even finish it!
