I Paid $35 For A Beat Up Old Crate In An Antique Store In St. Martins
Peter just shook his head. But it's a crate from a company in New Brunswick, and I'm a sucker for anything local and old. Plus, it was actually $45, but I talked the owner down. And, it makes a great plant stand for my 20 lb aloe.

and no I didn't forget about about building a top for it. Suitable barn board is hard to find.
