Movie Marathon!

Got back from Christmas in Chatham with the 'rents and ex in-laws Sunday evening...it's now Wednesday morning...saw 3 movies in that time.

Walk The Line...was pretty good, though I don't know much about Johnny Cash.

Memoirs Of A Geisha...two thumbs up! Very pretty to look at, and pretty much true to the book, though it's been a while since I've read it.

And finally...King Kong last night. It was good! A lot of fun, with CGI dinosaurs and scary-ass natives with bad teeth and pinkeye, and scary, gross creepy-crawleys on Skull Island. I thought Kong's behaviour was basically just like that of my two-year old.

I liked Kong too, but at one point on Skull Island, I imagined myself as Anne, and I couldn't rationalize how she kept from throwing herself off a cliff. How many dinosaurs and disgusting penis bugs can a human run away from?? It was good, but so exhausting at parts.

I loved Narnia too. Havn't seen Geisha, but its on my list.
