Martha Failed Me!
I stumbled across an old Martha Stewart Living magazine a few nights ago, one that survived "The Great Purge Of 2005," from when I moved last summer. On the cover..."knitting 101." Great! I wanted to learn how to knit. So I purchased yarn and a pair of needles from Michael's, and settled down with the magazine. I turned to the page with the illustrations...and was utterly dumbfounded. The illustrations were impossible to figure out.
Fortunately, Debbie Bliss helped me out. Her illustrations are merely difficult to understand, rather than impossible.
I get a real charge out of how my needles and yarn match.

I've known how to cast on, knit and purl for years...I just needed something to remind me. Unfortunately, that's all I can do.
I really should finish one of my many unfinished projects instead of starting something new, but what the hell. You might as do what you feel like doing.
My sister in law taught herself to knit from Debbie Bliss. She knitted a baby sweater. But she's sort of a genius.
Hey, how'd you take a picture with a perfectly black background?
It likes something from that black light theatre retard group that Paul Newman endorses. Nice.
