I Hate Christmas

I went Christmas shopping last night. It was awful. In one ten minute lineup, I was sandwiched between two ladies who kept up a lively and loud conversation around me, and invaded my personal space.

Then, I went to Costco. Oh my dear God.

When I was done, I got a 15" pizza with extra cheese from Pizza Delight and ate it in front of the tree. It helped bring back my Christmas spirit.

I had to go shopping for my boss yesterday, to buy light weight pants for her son. They are going to South America for their Christmas vacation and as usual, they wait until the week before to get anything they need. It's always seasonal and always hard to find. It took me 20 minutes to drive a block and half. I could have walked it faster...I was just trying to go home. AUGH, I finally cut through the Target parking lot and went the back way to the parkway. I knew better than going near the mall, but I had no choice. To top it off, I waited in line at the sporting goods store for an hour. Oh, the line was moving, sure, but I only had one item. It didn't seem worth it to me. I told them, next year, they better get their ducks in a row early, because after Dec 1st, I'm not going near a major shopping center. I was so cramped for time that I didn't get to eat lunch. Yesterday was not a fun day for me either.

Ya, shopping gets really good right about now.
Yesterday this lady, and I use that term loosely, was pretty much running in a store and just about smacked into me. She had the nerve to look up at me and grunt rudely, like I was the idiot.
I wanted to give her a Christmas slap. Cow.

This scares me- the only time I have to go finish my shopping is FRIDAY. How did I let this happen?

You know, crowds don't bug me - what pisses me off to no end is not being able to find a parking spot. THAT turns me into a mad, crazy woman.
