I Knitted Something!!!

Look! A dishcloth with a skull on it! It's the first real thing I've ever knitted! I followed a pattern and everything!
Now what do I do with those ends? Exactly how do you "weave in?"

Oh Yah!
Good job, DH! Did you enjoy it?

I started to explain how to weave the ends in with a crochet hook and it wasn't coming out right at all. If knittinghelp doesn't help you, I'll try to explain it.

It didn't help. And I'm also struggling with the concept of "yarn over."

Hilarious. That's so funny that you knitted the skully dishcloth as your first knitting project. Maybe I'm still woozy from the flu.

try knittinghelp.com. If that doesn't work, you basically take a big yarn needle and weave the loose end (six inches or less...not normally good but okay in this circumstance) not between the stitches but into the wool spun to make up the yarn. I hope this makes sense. I am pretty woozy.

Thanks, KM. That makes sense.
I was really drawn to the skull dishcloth. I have no idea why.

Kare: I really, really liked it!
