I Don't Get It
Can someone explain to me why it is that on school days, the Boy has to be practically dragged from bed, and then has to lie on the couch for at least half an hour before he can get up... yet, on non-school days, when Mom would appreciate him sleeping in a bit, he's up bright and early, without any assistance?

I am sorry to say that I totally did that as a child. I hated getting up on school days but woke up at the crack of ass on Saturday mornings to watch cartoons.
It's just kid-wiring, I think.
Well, it SUCKS!
Oh dear! School has that effect on kids. Hope you get some good sleeping in during the holidays.
