I got my new chest/coffee table! I managed to haggle the price down a bit.
I can't wait for the Boy to come home tomorrow and destroy it!

Beautiful! I have one similaeras my coffee table. Perfect height for putting your feet up while you read. Love Alistair MacLeod's books. Joanne Harris is a favourite too.
BTW I was able to find a copy of Ten Needles at The Book Room.

Lovely! I have a cedar chest that I used for a coffee table until my daughter decided it was great thing to bite while she was teething. Now there are chomp marks all around the perimeter. Needless to say, we moved the chest to a safer location. Yours is beautiful! Enjoy!
