First Book Club Meeting of '08
After about half the ladies in my bookclub announced that they loved this book, that it was possibly the best book they'd ever read in their lives, I sheepishly admitted that I hadn't cared for it. Only three of us didn't like it, everyone else loved it.
I found it a little too bleak and slow.

Oh... I thought it was lovely. Such deep sorrow, yet so gentle.
I wanted to like it, but I just couldn't quite get into it. Maybe it wasn't the right time.
