Help!


Does the line mean to k1 p2 seven more rows, or is a typo and really means to knit seventeen more rows?


Because why would you have one knit row in the middle of 27 rows of ribbing? That doesn't make sense, does it?


Damn it!

Here's the full pattern.

The knit row is where the brim will be turned up... it eliminates some of the bulk.
You can eliminate this step if you want it will not effect the pattern or how the hat in worn.
I think the ribbing on either side of the knit row should be equal, however if you eliminate the knit row this becomes irrelevant.

You want to knit the ribbing so the brim is long enough to turn up comfortably on the boy’s head.

Yes, that's what it seems like, the Knit row will be where the hat folds. Good luck with the hat, can't wait to see it done.
