Movie Marathon!
I did something yesterday that I've never done before ... I saw three movies! Two chick flicks with my chick flick buddy (it had been a while since we'd seen anything,) then another last night with Peter.
1). P.S. I Love You: Pretty sad, but great Irish Vacation House and Deceased Hot Husband porn. And Hilary Swank had a lot of nice coats. I didn't outright bawl, but leaked all throughout the movie.
2). 27 Dresses: Fun-with-a-happy-ending girlie movie goodness. Really enjoyed it.
3). National Treasure: Book of Secrets: Neeeh. A bit long. A few good Indiana Jones-type moments, however.
Boy is finally asleep. Time for another episode of Gilmore Girls!

You were on a roll. I saw three movies this weekend also. 1)PS I Love You...which I agree with you about. I was shocked because I really thought it would blow and be what I refer to as a "rental." I liked it and I was laughing at all the sniffs I heard..lots of saps in my screening.
I also saw Atonement and There Will Be Blood. I liked them both, but in very different ways. I liked the story in Atonement but The acting in There Will Be Blood was wonderful.
I saw 27 Dresses as a sneak preview. It was fun but I'm not sure its the kind of movie I'd watch again. I always judge movies on a "will/will not watch again" scale. The same goes for National Treasure...I wasn't thrilled but I enjoyed myself.
I'm glad you got out and had some fun though.
Ooh, I'd like to see Atonement. We also saw a trailer for The Other Boleyn Girl. It looks amazing!
Thanks for dropping by my blog - NO, Irish men sound nothing like that - they sound SO much better!
OH YEAH! As soon as The Other Boleyn Girl comes out, I'll be there. I have to say I'm a huge fan of period pieces and costumes. I just look at them and drool. Then I thank the heavens that I didn't have to wear that stuff everyday because I only do comfy clothes. Heck, half the time my shoes are not tied. I can't imagine if I had to have someone lace up a corset and tie me in. I'd be grouchy.
