Ebay is Bad!

Very bad! It makes crap look like treasure because other people want it, and it comes in the mail, which is way more fun than buying at a store. And that rush when you get something, especially if you've snatched it up at the last second from under the nose of someone who foolishly bid with 30 seconds left ... highly addictive!

Here's my latest acquistion... a wooden dough bowl to adorn the kitchen table, filled with fruit.

I am addicted to ebay. I have had to narrow my field a little or I go crazy. For the last few months, I have been buying old postcards from my hometown. I should blog about it sometime. I'm not even going to say how much I paid for one real picture postcard....my Mother would try to find me a bed in a looney bin. I had to have it. I just try to rationalize it out. Some of the postcard I bought were for a steal, so I just pretend that some of the money blew on the expensive one was actually for the cheap ones too. Yeah, basically I live in a fantasy world. I have branced out to old business advertisment give aways. Just the other day I bought an old cake frosting knife from a bakery I had never heard of in town. It must be old...it sure looks it. I'm going to ask my Great Aunts if they remember it.

Anyway, now that I have used up half your comment space with my blabbering, I'm going leave you with a parting sentence. It is as follows: I love your new wooden bowl.

GET OUT! Were you really?! How funny is that, I mean, really! I'd tell you the most I paid for a postcard, but my Mother cyber stalks me and I just know she'd have a stroke. We can't have that. OK, Ok, she doesn't stalk me....its more like checking up on me to make sure I'm not telling all the funny stories I have about her that I promised not to blog about. What was I thinking when I agreed to that?!

Hey if you show me your postcards, I'll show you mine. lol, that sounds so dirty. Happy V-day, not to be confused with VD Day, which is a totally different thing indeed.

I haven't actually bought any yet, I've just been looking. But I'm sure that will change.
I won a scrimshaw bracelet last night that I'll have to post a pic of.

Hi Sue!
