Look! I Knitted A Hat!!
A real hat! And I don't even mind that I had to start over about ten times, once when I was almost finished, because it looks much better than my other attempts.
Am v. proud of myself.

I recently took up crochet and I've been loving it. I find it much faster than knitting. Have you tried it?
The hat looks great and the boy looks very cute wearing it... well he actually looks cute all the time.

Hi RH - Nice to meet you. No, I haven't tried crochet, mainly because learning to knit has used up all my available brain cells.
Thanks Paul and Brandy. Actually, I've been looking at sock yarn at my LYS (look, I'm using knitting slang!) and a nice lady who works there said she can teach me.
