It Was A Good Year
I thought 2005 was going to suck. It didn't suck at all.
Things of note :
- I saw the light (regarding men; not in holy-roller, bible-thumping manner.)
- Met a nice man on the internet (gasp!)
- Crowned "Ultimate Chocolate Lover Of The Year" at St. Stephen Chocolate Festival, fulfilling lifelong dream.
- Rappelled down horrifically tall Assumption Life building and lived to tell the tale.
- Escaped Evil Inhumane Company with horrible hours and worse wages after 11 years, for Much More Humane Company with normal hours and better everything, and now can stay up past 8:30 pm and have a life.
- Drove alone to and in Halifax for a whole week without killing myself (hey, I'm a wussy old lady driver...it was a big deal for me!)
- First brazilian wax as wild and crazy event for milestone birthday.
- Though think guns are terrible things, went to shooting range for first time ever...shot handgun, and had great fun tossing hair around pretending to be Kelly from "Charlie's Angels."
It was a very good year.
