What I've Been Reading: A Lot of "Ehhh"

Late Nights On Air, Julie & Julia, October, and The Jane Austen Book Club were all not bad, just not quite as great as I'd hoped.

La Sagouine, the Acadian classic about Sagouine the washer woman was much more interesting than I thought it would be, and very funny.

A Year in the Maine Woods was interesting, but what I remember most was the biologist/author's description of the 9 cups of flies that he sucked up in his DustBuster one day. He also thought nothing of tasting bugs.
