The Pride And Joy Of My Kitchen

I lusted after a KitchenAid stand mixer for seven whole years. I finally got one for Christmas in 2003. I don't think I've actually used it more than about 10 times. But I love to look at it on my island. I resolve to use my mixer more often, damnit!

New Year's Resolutions

- improve diet

- start taking yoga, cardio kick boxing, or some other form of exercise

- have more bubble baths

- read more new books, instead of old favourites

- watch more movies

- use the good china (metaphorically speaking)

- complete at least 1 unfinished project lying around my house

- keep at least one New Year's resolution

Look What I Got For Eleven Bucks!

Found this at Chapters last night...a very nice hardcover cookbook, recipes look good...best of all, it was on sale! Original price...$46. Sale price...$14.95. And, it turned out to be 30% off, so it wound up being 11 dollars and change! And, since I had a gift card, it really was free! The picture on the cover alone is enough reason to buy it.
